The LG KP500 Cookie is to be released very soon onto the Irish market, we’re talking days here people! This is going to be one of the most affordable touchscreen handsets on the market and should be here just in time for Santa to give to all the good children.
Although what you gain in affordability, you lose out when it comes to functions and applications. It is missing some nice features which come with most other touchscreen handsets, such as GPS, 3G and/or Wi-Fi. But this is meant to appeal to the masses because of the price. For what you are paying for, it is a nice option if you are looking for a good handset which won’t make you get a mortgage out against the price!
What you do get is EDGE, QuadBand GSM, 3.2 MP camera to name some of its abilities. Putting it in landscape will reveal a QWERTY keyboard. According to GSMarena, standby time is to be up to 350h and talktime of up to 3h 30 mins.
