Today it was announced that EU Communications ministers have agreed to limit the price of sending a txt whil you are roaming within the EU bloc.
The theory is simply. They have agreed that as of from next year, sending a txt from anywhere in the EU bloc will cost a maximum of 11c. This is designed to bring down the cost of making and receiving calls and texts while travelling.
That’s not all. From the 31st they have agreed that calls from abraod will be charged by the second, as compaired to being charged by the minute as is the norm at the min.
So who says the EU doesn’t help!!??
